The project's published coordinate is its inland forest reserve at Lushoto, and these are mangroves destined for a coastal site whose coordinate is not published; writing the former would place them roughly a hundred kilometres from where they will grow. The certificate states a figure of 1,200 kg described as CO2 offset. Sapling Network does not make offset claims (16), does not adopt that figure, and reproduces the document only as evidence of what was paid for.
